Things That May Happen:

When your baby first goes off to nursery:

You hoover a lot whilst staring at the phone
You look a little lost, a little disoriented
You don't get any writing done
You don't even get any knitting done
You watch the clock
You take the phone with you when you go to the lavatory
You find yourself excited when home time creeps round.

Yes. These things will pass. But for now.
It's OCD Mummy without her munchkin time.

Ahhh bugs Judy! It is the hardest thing to let your babies go. Caroline x

Hugs, Judy - been there, done that (and still carry the mobile around like a baby substitute - even though she's now 13 and the school have yet to phone me for anything).

I think you need to meet up with a friend for a coffee and a chat :-)

Oh poor you, Judy, I remember the angst well and it DOES pass, honest it does.

Your baby will be having a whale of a time!

Still a week left to go down here!

Lots of love,

Thank you ladies.
I'm twitchy now but I know it'll pass. Just another step (gulp!) but it's all good.
Good luck Rachel, you're nearly there now then you can write like the wind! jx

Hang in there, Jude. I bet she's having a blast. And just think of all the writing you'll get done!

Hugs, Jude, I hated it when my baby went to school. Cried as I walked out of the playground. Strangely, I was nearly cheering when I dropped him off at football camp this morning, he's so active all the time!

I do sympathise. But soon enough you will be at my stage. Only TOO EAGER for school to start again after the holidays!!

You can have too much of a good thing sometimes. Says Jane, who has FIVE children and rather a lot of hard work to be doing while the little darlings are underfoot all summer.

Oh, hugs sweetie. The first few times are wrenching, but the reunions are so much sweeter. Hugs again xx
